Claude Enterprise: chat and Cowork in one conversation
Cloud file work continues after the laptop closes; existing skills and connectors carry over.
- Change: Enterprise conversations can move from chat into code execution and file work without switching modes. Tasks run in Anthropic’s cloud and continue after the laptop closes.
- Carries over: Projects, connectors, skills, and plugins. Resume on web, desktop, or mobile.
- Outputs: Documents, analyses, and presentations produced from the conversation and supplied files.
- Admin controls: Role-based access, model entitlements, spend limits, and pooled group budgets. Efficient mode restricts model selection to Sonnet and Haiku.
- Access at launch: Generally available for Enterprise. Organizations using Claude Code zero data retention, HIPAA-ready configurations, or customer-managed encryption keys remain on their existing configuration.
