Droid in practice: delegating a maintenance task

The scenario

A team has a maintenance backlog competing with new feature work.

This is a proposed use case to investigate. The workflow has not yet been tested for this article.

1. Select one bounded maintenance task with clear acceptance criteria.
2. Delegate implementation, tests, and related documentation.
3. Review the changes and record the corrections still needed.

Evidence to collect

We’ll document the setup, inputs, output quality, time spent, costs, and human corrections. Results and screenshots will be added after testing.
