Replit in practice: building an internal request tracker

An outline for building and trying an internal request tracker with a small team.

This is a placeholder. The full story, real examples, and sources are coming soon.

The scenario

A team needs a simple place to submit, assign, and track internal requests.

This is a proposed use case to investigate. The workflow has not yet been tested for this article.

The workflow to explore

  1. Define the request form, statuses, and access requirements.
  2. Build a first version using sample data.
  3. Try the full workflow with a teammate and document what needs work.

Evidence to collect

We’ll document the setup, inputs, output quality, time spent, costs, and human corrections. Results and screenshots will be added after testing.
